Returns & Exchanges
It's important to me that your headband fits perfectly and is comfortable on your head. The very best way to ensure that your headband fits properly is to measure before ordering. However, should your headband not fit the way you like, I'm always happy to accept a return, an exchange or make complimentary alterations.
How to send your return or exchange:
Refunds must be requested within 14 days of purchase and headbands must be in new and unworn condition for a full refund.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me to request return address and indicate whether you are exchanging or returning your purchase. For exchanges, please indicate the desired item number/size. I will place your desired item(s) on hold so that they do not sell out while I await your package.
Pack the headband(s) along with a copy of your customer receipt into the original packaging or another vinyl or heavy-duty mailer. (Simple paper envelopes will tear apart in the postage machines.)
Mail your package by dropping it into a USPS mail drop box or taking it inside a post office.
Your return will be processed (less shipping) after receiving your return.
Headband Care & Construction
I personally sew each of my headbands using my own patterns and the best quality fabrics. I always use heavy duty, non-roll elastic and re-enforced seams so that your headband won't fall apart or change shape. Almost all of the headbands in my shop can be cared for with a quick machine wash and dry. Any exceptions to this will be noted in the item description under the section "Care". However, just like any textile, fabrics do fade and wear with time, and the care with which you wash your headbands will have an impact on their appearance over time.
Shipping for orders over $36 is always free and shipping for orders under $36 is a flat rate of $3.50.
Packages are shipped USPS First Class Mail and usually arrive within 4-6 business days from date of order.
$15 shipping for all orders outside of the United States.
Packages ship by United States Postal Service First Class International Mail. First class packages usually take between one and two weeks to be delivered but can occasionally take as long as eight weeks. A tracking number will be provided but may only track the location of the package until it leaves the United States. Shipping times vary by country and packages can occasionally be delayed in your country's customs office for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, this is something I have no control over and no ability to predict.
International customers are responsible for any customs or tax fees that your package may incur. Each country has its own customs laws regarding fabric and sewn items. If you have any concerns about customs fees, I recommend contacting your local post office before purchase as these fees will be your responsibility as the buyer. Packages will be described as "Fabric Headband(s)" on the USPS customs form.
Currently, the UK charges a 20% VAT to any package sent from outside the European Union with a value over £15 as well as an £8 handling fee incurred by Royal Mail (http://www.royalmail.com/personal/help-and-support/I-need-advice-about-customs-requirements). You will be required by Royal Mail to pay these charges within three weeks and before you collect your goods.
