Model Information

Thanks for your interest in modeling for Specifically Random!  Please take a minute to review the following information about the types of photos that will best represent my brand.

Photo Requirements:

  • Please provide at least 5 high-res images of each headband.
  • Showing the product true to color is very important. Clean, natural light is best.
  • I prefer horizontal images so that I have the option to crop to square.
  • I prefer images without watermarks. If using watermarks, please keep in mind that I crop my photos to square for use in my Etsy shop.

Overall, I'm looking for simple, clear images focusing on the headband itself. I would like for everything else to be secondary as shown in the examples below.

When modeling the headbands, please reference the images below. I've provided examples of how each style should be worn.

Wide

Wide headbands should be worn at their full width. Either underneath the hair in the back or over the top of the hair. They can be worn across the forehead or on top of the head. Bangs can be worn in or out.

Wide Knit

Same as above, wide knit headbands should be worn at their full width. Either underneath the hair in the back or over the top of the hair. They can be worn across the forehead or on top of the head.

Sports Wrap

The sports wrap headband should be worn over the ears and forehead.

Extra Wide

Although my extra wide headbands can be worn scrunched up as a narrower headband, for the purpose of modeled photos I would like to see them worn at their full width (or close to it). Either underneath the hair in the back or over the top. They can be worn across the forehead or on top of the head.

Kerchief

It's important that photos of my kerchief headband show that they have a point in the back.

I always LOVE receiving creative shots with alternate hair styles, fun outfits and/or poses. I just ask that if you would like to do this, please provide these images in addition to (not instead of) the basic product shots.

It's also great to see pictures showing what the headbands look like from the back.

Again - thank you so much for your interest! I couldn't do what I do without the help of my amazing models. Your faces are truly what drive my business!
